Aromas of China
Yummy yummy yummy is all i can think of while talking about Aromas of China. By the by its a new restaurant in Lokhandwala (Mumbai - India). Now for those Mumbaities who have been to place like Royal China and find it "O so expensive that i can only go with my parents" this is the place they should go!!
Aromas has got quality food and is easy on the pocket. i went there with 7 people and it cost only Rs 2000 with non- alcoholic beverages. Now from all that i can remember of the cost, things like the "Roast Duck Pao (3 pieces) cost Rs 100, the Peking Duck - Rs 350. Sticky Rice - Rs 150-170.
even the Prawn Cheung Fun was around Rs 175. I mean thats a stealll now isnt it? Its not dirt cheap, but for someone who loves to eat all what im talking abt- Im sure u know the value.
Their Buffet
their buffets are only on Sundays - Lunch time. Its costs Rs 370 (exclusive of tax)
now now now... this is what it has, its serves dim sums and pao (veg and non veg), and also 2 other veg and non veg starters (each). it has 6 main course options in the veg and non veg . For dessert they have 6 options too- 2 hot and 4 cold, 6 different flavours of ice-cream. (and they have the chocolate fondue fountain)
the buffet also includes either a pint of kingfisher or a fizz drink or fresh lime.
(ohh note its wasnt only all chicken and chicken - there was prawn and lobster and lamb also)
Besides the Food
ok now the first time i went the service was great, the second time was so-so, but not all the bad cuz the waiters do know what they r talking about atleast! the ambiance is nice nice nice... its has loads of those wall fountains (very much like the old China Garden - which is now CG83 --- yes yes i know blahhh humbug) also it has water on the floor and wooden planks on it so that u could walk (duhhhh)
the restroom doesnt rock ( but its super clean)
overall great food - total VFM... GOOOOOOOO THHHHHHEERRREEE
and dont call 2888... for the number and listen to "fitness station for fitness at home, fitness station for ............."
here the number 67253691
ohhh and let me know if u do go and u do like it
